BISD Names Jessica Wade Principal of Brock Elementary

Burleson Independent School District (BISD) announces Jessica Wade as principal of Brock Elementary. Wade brings 22 years of education experience to her new role, including success as an elementary administrator, instructional leader, and classroom teacher.

Most recently serving as assistant principal at Hajek Elementary, Wade brings a strong background in elementary leadership and instruction to Brock. As an administrator, she has supported student achievement, strengthened instructional practices, and helped build a positive campus culture. Wade began her career as an elementary teacher and was named Teacher of the Year multiple years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Administration, Leadership, and Supervision from Ball State University.

“Jessica Wade is a proven leader who has demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and a deep commitment to supporting both students and staff,” said BISD Superintendent Dr. Bret Jimerson. “Her ability to honor Brock Elementary’s strong culture while driving continued academic success makes her the right fit to lead this campus into its next chapter.”

“I am honored and excited for the opportunity to serve as principal and continue supporting students, staff, and families in this community,” said Wade. “I look forward to building strong relationships, celebrating the great work already happening, and working together to ensure every child thrives academically and personally.”

Brock Elementary will host a campus meet-and-greet event for parents, students, and staff on Thursday, May 7, from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
