Who are we?

Visit the PTO website

The Stribling Elementary School PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a nonprofit parent teacher organization. The PTO maintains a close working relationship between parents, teachers/staff, and students. It is our goal to enhance our students’ educational experience by:

  • supporting academic achievement
  • enriching social and community awareness
  • providing assistance to teachers in classroom settings
  • holding fund-raisers for supplemental educational materials and experiences
  • supporting school and family social interaction
  • providing a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children.

It is our belief that the team effort of a parent teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our children.

Have you ever wondered what your $10 PTO Membership fee supports?

This fee, combined with funds earned through PTO fundraisers does a lot for our students at Stribling Elementary. In the past few years, Stribling PTO has:

  • Purchased educational materials such as Sciencesaurus books, math and language arts games for 3rd grade, Study Island and Brain Pop
  • Provided for special programs for the students, such as the “Banana Soup” Assembly and the African drumming program
  • Provided special meals and gifts for the teachers to show our appreciation for their dedication and hard work
  • Provided funds to help offset the costs of field trip buses and class parties
  • Purchased technology such as headphones for the computer lab and 2 class set of CPS Spark Clickers
  • Purchased furniture for the library and front office

It’s amazing what we can accomplish when we join together! Thank you, Stribling families, for your continued support!
