This week is Red Ribbon Week, an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States.
We are supporting Red Ribbon Week by having special dress days:
Monday – “Win the War Against Drugs” – Wear camo.
Tuesday – “Every day’s a holiday without drugs.” – Wear a holiday shirt (from any holiday – Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines, 4th of July, etc.) with standardized dress bottoms.
Wednesday – “When you’re drug free, the world is yours.” – Dress like a tourist – ideas: white knee socks with sandals, plaid/print shirt with city map in your pocket, a souvenir shirt from another city or country . . .
Thursday – “Team up against Drugs” – Wear team shirts or jerseys (youth league, middle / high school, college, or professional teams all our acceptable) with standardized dress bottoms.
Friday – “Be drug free” – Free dress day
