  • Author, Susan Stevens Crummell Visits Stribling

    Children’s book author, Susan Stevens Crummell will visit Stribling on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

    Mrs. Crummell will visit with students in three different presentation times during the day.  Students will have the opportunity to purchase her books, and she will gladly autograph those books.  Be watching for more information about presentation times and book buying opportunities!

    Red Ribbon Week Daily Dress Themes

    Monday: Wear Camo – “Win the War Against Drugs”
    Tuesday: Holiday Shirt with standard dress bottoms – “Every Day is a Holiday Without Drugs”
    Wednesday: Souvenir Shirt from a Place You Visited – “When You’re Drug-Free, the World is Yours”
    Thursday: Star Wars t-shirt with standard dress bottoms – “The Drug-Free Force is With Me”
    Friday: Free Dress – “Be Drug Free”
    No sleeveless shirts or jerseys, please.  Jeans are an option ONLY on Friday.  Dressing with the daily themes is optional; students may choose to wear standard dress any day.

  • 2017-2018 School Calendar Approved

    2017-18 School Year Calendar Approved

    BURLESON, Texas (March 28, 2017) – The Burleson Independent School District (BISD) Board of Trustees approved a resolution for BISD to become a District of Innovation, giving the district greater local control and exemptions from a number of state statutes, to better serve the education needs of students. Changes were incorporated into the 2017-18 school year calendar approved at the March 27 board meeting.

  • AR Home Connect


    Students in grades 1-5 participate in AR (Accelerated Reader), an online reading comprehension program.  After a student reads a book/story, they can log on to AR (from school only) and test their comprehension of that book/story.  If you would like to monitor your child’s progress, click here for more information.  With this, you can even set up email notifications after they’ve taken a quiz!

    You will need your child’s AR username and password, which your child should know.  If they do not, contact your child’s teacher.
